Two of the most popular motorcycle make in Europe are Moto Guzzi and Aprilia. There are many distributors around the world and Moto Guzzi for sale in the UK remains to be one of the highest motorcycle sales. Despite a number of attempts to invade the Philippine market, it has not come into fruition. This is mostly due to the fact that many of the Moto Guzzi and Aprilia units that were sold from authorized dealers and the gray market have simply died. The cause of deaths of the units is attributed to the unfortunate lack of after-sales service centres and no source of spare parts in case they need one. At the end of the day, owners were left traumatized.
This might not be for long as Bikerbox is planning to change the reputation of the brands in the country. A recent announcement was made by the company regarding its partnership with Piaggio Group. The company sent the best mechanics in the company to undergo after-sales training at the headquarters of Piaggio Vietnam. The training focused on models that are planned to be launched in the Philippines within the next few months.
The presence of Piaggio in the region has been known to the commercial market because of its determination to make sure all the dealers are provided the resources they require in providing quality service when maintaining the models they have already sold.
The director of Piaggio Group in charge of training and technical department, Luigi D’Angelo, was the one who gave out the certificates as proof of the participation of representatives from different importers as well as distributors in Asia Pacific region. Each one who attended the training session was able to receive their certificate.
The technicians present during the three-day course were able to learn how to service the Tuono V4 1100 Factory ASC, 2019 Moto Guzzi V85TT and 2019 Aprilia RSV V4 1100 Factory. There are many distributors and after-sales center of Moto Guzzi for sale in the UK but in the Philippines, Bikerbox is the sole after-sales provider.
