How To Maintain Healthy After HCG Weight Loss Program

An HCG weight loss program usually has 3 or 4 phases. If you were successful enough to resist temptation and go on with your dieting without cheating, the next step is to continue with the challenge. When you have successfully completed your weight loss program, your goal shifts from losing weight to maintaining it. Continue having regular exercise of two to three weeks. Just make sure that you go for light exercises such as aerobics, brisk walking, swimming or jogging. Avoid doing heavy exercises immediately after finishing the HCG weight loss program. Your calorie intake must remain low and doing heavy exercises would easily consume your energy. Maintain your 500-550 calorie intake per day. You can gradually increase your calorie consumption within three weeks after completing the cycle. Weigh yourself after the last day of taking HCG drops. Check your weight regularly to ensure that you are not backsliding.

After the three weeks, you can start eating regularly with regular amount of carbohydrates. Ask your dietician or a nutritionist on the right type of food to be taken to maintain your weight. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and avoid fatty or high cholesterol food types.

To sustain your nutrition, choose your food well. Eat foods that are high in omega 3 fatty acids such as cold water fishes.
